A recent study of 11 and 12-year-old children in Jordan revealed that teeth were the most commonly targeted physical factor in bullying. Not just teeth in general, but orthodontic issues including:

This study was published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics after a panel of top US orthodontists determined that this is a pressing problem in the United States as well.
