TYPICALLY, IT’S THE FIRST SMILING FACE that greets you when you visit us! For those of you who have met and visited with Sarah, you already know how awesome she is. Her personality and excellent communication skills are a huge part of the service we provide. Sarah is from Crete, Nebraska. In High School, she was active in volleyball, basketball, track, swimming, marching band and dance team. She was also a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and church youth group—busy girl! After High School, she went on to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Sarah then transferred to Southeast Community College-Lincoln and graduated from the Dental Assisting Program. She’s been a Certified Dental Assistant since 1993. Her husband Jeff is in Sales and Service and is a coach for River City Juniors’ club volleyball. They have 1 son, Geoffrey who is 4 and they are also expecting a girl in December. We recently put Sarah in the hot seat and asked her some questions so you can get to know her better…
When you have a day off work, what are your favorite things to do?
“My favorite things to do when I’m not working would be anything that gets me outside. I still enjoy playing volleyball and I also do a bit of golfing. My son and I go to the swimming pool as much as possible in the summer.”
What’s your favorite thing about your job?
“I chose Dental Assisting as my career not only because I find dentistry intriguing but I enjoy helping people whether it’s chairside or helping them be able to afford treatment.”
