SOMETIMES, WE’RE GUILTY OF ASSUMING TOO MUCH, RIGHT? We recently realized that we’ve probably wrongly assumed that ALL of you—our valued patients—know Amy as well as we do! That’s probably not the case.
So, We Asked Amy A Few Questions
We asked Amy a few questions to help you get to know her a little better. Those questions are found below—along with her candid answers! Enjoy!
Where are you originally from?
“Vail, Iowa, which I typically describe as being between Carroll and Denison on Highway 30. People have usually heard Bill Randby talk about one of those towns.”
What made you decide that you wanted to become a dental assistant?
“I really love the field and it is a great way to educate and encourage people to have a healthy mouth and a healthier life.”
When you started as a dental assistant was there something funny that happened? Do you dare tell us that story?
“I was taking a dental impression and the woman asked me to promise to give her tooth back. Honestly I was perplexed. Sure enough her tooth came out in the impression and she promptly popped it back in. It taught me a lesson.”
What’s your favorite thing to do when you’re not at work?
“I love to travel and am open to any surprise adventures, such as camping or a good hike. Sometimes I’ll take my Golden Retriever Maize along for those adventures as well. My husband even gets to go sometimes too.”
What do you enjoy most about being a dental assistant?
“I love the patients I have gotten to know over the years. I enjoy helping them relax and feel more comfortable. I have really come to enjoy the patients at Dr. Henley’s office in the 9 years I’ve been with him.”
We hope you’ve enjoyed getting to know Amy a little better. Here at our practice we feel really fortunate to have her as a member of our awesome team.
