TRUE, YOU MAY NOT BE THINKING about our practice around Halloween time. But we’re thinking of you—and about your children’s healthy teeth! That’s why we’re putting together an awesome event to help your family make the most of all your leftover Halloween candy—without making your teeth pay the price. At our Sweet Swap Event, we’ll be giving children the chance to trade in candy for other treats! AND it’s for a great cause: all the candy we collect will be donated to the troops overseas.
When:
Saturday, November 3, 2012 9:00am – 12:00pm
Where:
Dr. Michael Costello’s Office 1333 College Avenue South Milwaukee (Across the street from the South Shore Y)
Here’s How It Will Work:
We’ll give you $1.00 per pound of leftover unopened Halloween candy (up to $8.00/person). All children will get a toothbrush, stickers and a “Stop Zombie Mouth” kit. In addition, we’ll be giving you the chance to earn raffle tickets. Our grand prizes for the raffle are gift cards to Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, Toys ’R Us and Sonicare toothbrushes. You’ll get tickets for:
- A candy donation
- Writing a letter to the soldiers
- Wearing a costume
Enjoy some healthy refreshments and tour our office while you’re here, and find out about upcoming promotions. Kids, visit the coloring area to write a note to the soldiers! As we have all heard in the news recently, tooth decay is on the rise in our children and diet plays a major role. Too much candy is not healthy. Lets give our Trick-or-Treaters an option to sell back their candy for a great cause and reward them with money, gifts and prizes. Here’s to healthy smiles.
