HAVE YOU MET AMANDA YET? She is our newest assistant and a fabulous addition to our team. Amanda is a fresh transplant to the Milwaukee area after recently moving to Mequon with her husband and their trouble-loving boxer, Tebow (her husband is from Florida and a football fan, if you didn’t guess that by the dog’s name!)
Where is she originally from?
Most recently the couple lived in downtown Chicago, where Amanda worked in retail as a manager. Her experience in retail shows in her great service expertise and people skills. Our patients who have been able to meet Amanda have enjoyed her fun, upbeat and personable manner.
What made her decide that she wanted to become a dental assistant?
Amanda is also the daughter of a retired dentist! Although he is no longer practicing, she did have the opportunity to work in his office as an assistant for about five years, giving her great knowledge of the field, and it has all come back to her!
What’s her favorite thing to do when not at work?
In her spare time, Amanda is working on making their new house a home, being crafty and getting outdoors! She loves to try to find treasures at flea markets and find a space in their home for them. Keep your eye out for her the next time you are at a new restaurant, fair, or block party. You likely will find her enjoying life and getting to know Wisconsin!
