So, We Asked Mary A Few Fun Questions
So, we asked Mary a few questions to help you get to know her a little better. The answers are found below. We hope you enjoy them!
Where is she originally from?
“Our dental hygienist Mary has been part of our team for the past 22 years and a hygienist for the past 36! Looking at her, you would never guess! Mary says she decided she wanted to be a dental hygienist when she was about 15 years old (after deciding NOT to become a nun!)”
Married? Children?
“Throughout her life, Mary has enjoyed the benefits of working while raising a family and seeing it grow, having four children and now three beautiful granddaughters who she loves to spend time with!”
What made Mary decide to become a dental hygienist?
“She says that she had spent many hours in the dental chair herself and it seemed like such a great environment in which to work, everyone was always so nice and having fun. After talking with the hygienists there, she also realized it was a great career for a mom, having the ability to work part time or full time, depending on what her family life called for.”
Does she have an unusual or interesting hobby?
“Besides spending time with family, Mary loves to read and is part of a book club with some amazing women. She is also taking classes at UWM – only four classes away from getting her Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology! Mary and her husband Mike also love to travel, see the country and spend lots of time outdoors camping, biking and hiking! Most weekends you could probably find Mary at some event watching Mike playing drums in his band The Squeezettes! They are a really fun Milwaukee based polka band!”
What does she enjoy most about being a dental hygienist?
“Mary loves her patients and her patients love her. She has developed wonderful relationship with so many of her patients. They are like family to her. We are so lucky to have Mary as part of the team and appreciate her hard work and dedication! Thanks Mary!”
