The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry says \u201cfirst visit by first birthday<\/strong>.\u201d Some experts recommend visiting the dentist within 6 months of the arrival of your child\u2019s first tooth. If you have questions or concerns before either of these times, don\u2019t hesitate to call<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

  • We\u2019ll examine your child\u2019s teeth, gums, jaw, and bite.<\/li>\n

  • We wait until after age 6 for first x-rays and often wait until age 4 or more for professional hygiene to start.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
