Flossing removes bacteria between your teeth that\u2014if left alone\u2014hardens to become plaque, then tartar. Flossing at night may be best for a clean mouth before bedtime. <\/p>\n<h4>Why Are There So Many Floss Choices And Techniques?<\/h4>\n<p> For something as seemingly simple as a piece of string inside a plastic container, <strong>why are there so many varieties?<\/strong> Waxed and unwaxed. Mint and cinnamon. Flat and rounded. Is it better to wrap the floss around your fingers or use a wand to hold it?
