BEING AN ORTHODONTIST is incredibly rewarding! In fact, according to many career studies and publications it’s among the world’s top occupations.
Becoming An Orthodontist Is A LOT Of Work
Did you know that it takes at least 10 years of schooling AFTER high school to become an orthodontist? Four years for an undergraduate degree, four years of dental school, and then another 2–3 years of orthodontic training. And during those 10+ years of schooling, you’ll have to work your tail off!
However, It’s VERY Rewarding!
There’s an old saying attributed to Confucius that goes something like this… “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” When you really love your occupation, it’s absolutely worth the work to get there!
